What happens to your website each month.
Maintain is the base of every plan. This is the month on a WordPress site; the other platforms are described further down, and the report and the email are the same on all of them.
Updates, with a backup first
Each month we take a backup, then apply the updates waiting on your site. On WordPress that is WordPress core, your theme and every plugin. Then we check the site still works: the pages load, the forms send and nothing has broken.
Security patches as they are released
When a security patch is published for your platform, your theme or a plugin, we apply it when it arrives rather than waiting for the monthly round.
The Monthly Website Health Report
Once a month we check up to 100 pages of your site across five sections: Found on Google, Turning visitors into enquiries, Trust signals, Easy to read on a phone and Security. After the month's fixes we run the check again, so the report shows them cleared.
Up to 2 hours of work a month
Covers the updates and checks, then the fixes the report finds, then the text and image changes you send us. Hours do not roll over, and anything bigger is quoted before we start.

Week 1: updates and backup
We take a backup, apply the platform, theme and plugin updates and check the site still works.
Week 2: the report
We check your public pages and produce your Monthly Website Health Report.
Week 3: fixes from the report
We work through the report's list, highest impact first, inside your included hours, then run the check again.
Week 4: your changes and the email
We make the text and image changes you have sent, then send the monthly email: what we found, what we fixed and what to fix next.

Hosting and domain fees
They stay in your name with your host and registrar. We work with them; we do not take them over.
Licences and paid plugins
Premium themes, paid plugins, apps and other subscriptions are billed to you by their vendor.
New pages, features and redesigns
Anything beyond the included hours is quoted separately. Builds start from US$1,650.
Builds and bigger scopes are quoted separately.
Website design and build starts from US$1,650 and is quoted per scope. Larger retainers that add workflow automation are quoted the same way. Tell us what you need and we will come back with a number.

Common questions.
What happens when a job needs more than the included hours?
We quote it first. Then you choose: approve the extra time at US$99 an hour, move to the next plan or leave it for next month. Nothing beyond your included hours is billed without your approval.
How do I send a request?
Email us or use the contact form. Either way it joins your queue and we reply within one business day with what we will do and when.
How many requests can I have open?
As many as you like in the queue. We work on one at a time on Maintain and Maintain and Rank, and two at a time on Maintain and Grow, in the order you sent them unless you tell us otherwise. One finished and checked request before the next starts is how the hours stay predictable.
Can I add design, UX or more hours?
Yes, as a plan upgrade. Design, UX work, new pages and extra hours are quoted first and billed by the hour at US$99 an hour, or you move up a plan. Nothing is added without your approval.
Do unused hours roll over?
No. Hours belong to the month they are in. In a quiet month we spend them on what the report recommends next.
What counts as an emergency?
Your site is down or defaced. We handle that first, ahead of the month's planned work, and we tell you before any paid time starts.
What access do you need?
Admin access to your website and, where it applies, your hosting account and your business profile, so we can take backups, apply updates and make the fixes. The report needs no access: it reads your public pages only.
Do you run ads?
No. No plan includes paid advertising. Maintain and Rank and Maintain and Grow grow your enquiries through search, content and email, which keep working after the month ends.
How often do I get a report?
Once a month, on every plan. After we finish the month's fixes we run the check again, so you can see them cleared. A plain-English email with the month's summary comes with it.
When does the first report arrive?
We agree the date of your first report with you when your plan starts. The first report shows what we found and what to fix next. From the second report it also lists what we fixed since the last one.
What do the included hours cover?
Everything we do on your site that month: the updates and checks, the fixes the report finds and the text and image changes you send us. On Maintain and Rank and Maintain and Grow they also cover the SEO, articles, email and conversion work listed for that plan.
How do I pay?
We send a tax invoice each month, in advance. We confirm the price in writing before your plan starts.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Plans are month to month. Cancel with 30 days notice.
What about GST?
Prices in Australian dollars are shown without GST. GST of 10% is added on the invoice, and the total including GST is shown beside each plan. Prices in US dollars, for clients outside Australia, carry no GST.
My website was not built by you. Can I still get a plan?
Yes, on any website we can look after, wherever your business is in Australia. We check the public pages first and quote any catch-up work before you start.
